Director of Engineering

Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating Departments, supplying services as required to the entire operation, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds in optimum condition
  • Prepare and manage a cost effective operating budget to cover cost of all maintenance, utilities within the financial parameters set down by the hotel budget
  • Develop, implement and maintain work order system to address routine repair
  • Report to the General Manager and supervise the Engineering team

 

Qualifications

  • Degree holder or above in mechanical/electrical engineering and/or Building Services Management
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ relevant working experience in the position of DOE/ ADOE with International branded hotels
  • MHKIE or equivalent professional qualification is preferable
  • Possess strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Strong leadership, open, inclusive, fair and collaborative with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Cantonese would be beneficial
