Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of :
    - A comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that  will enhance DHI’s image and position within the marketplace and the general public, and facilitate internal and external communications: and
    - All DHI marketing, communication, brand partnership and public relations activities and material s including publication online and offline, media relations, client acquisition and so forth.
  • Oversee the creation and management of the brand identity for Dorsett Hospitality International and its three hotel brand portfolios.
  • Oversee the production of all brand identity materials, collateral and the development of new promotional materials.
  • Oversee all phases from planning to briefing and implementation of the hotel’s annual marketing communications, media and advertising plan; by collaborating with group appointed media agency, PR agency, emarketing agency and design /creative house.
  • Act as Brand ambassador internally and externally.
  • Design and execute PR strategy for the group showcasing its main USPs, highlighting its competitive advantages targeting the right customer groups.
  • Implement tactical media relations activity in line with the group's business needs and objectives.
  • Responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of the group's publication.
  • Ensure the group and its hotels receive regular exposure in local and international media both print and online through proactive and reactive PR actions.
  • Manage the group's Press Office.
  • Direct crisis communications and be the spokesperson for the group.
  • Develop, manage and monitor the group's social media channel strategy.
  • Maintain frequent contact with the Group's guests and clients through direct marketing activities.
  • Plan, organise and oversee all photography and videography sessions for the hotel to ensure the right assets are in place for media, digital and collateral use. These include major collateral photography, and press release photos.
  • Ensure up-to-date, brand-appropriate web site copy for the hotel.  Liaise with appropriate corporate and property colleagues to update the hotel site regularly.
  • Responsible for the achievement of marketing/communication/public relations mission, goals and financial objectives.
  • Develop short and long term plans and budgets for the marketing/communications/public relations program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
  • Support service for all hotel level Marketing Communications teams as deemed necessary.
  • In charge of the publication of corporate’s quarterly newsletters and literatures.
  • Close liaison with GMs of all hotels under the group.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, public relations, journalism or communications OR related experience in public relations, excellent speaking skills and a strong ability to write, edit and do research
  • At least 7-10 years relevant experience preferably with hotel design project
  • Hands-on experience in various analytics models including Google Analytics, social media and other e-Marketing vehicles
  • Demonstrates ability to think strategically, think conceptually, executive effectively, work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects, in some cases, across multiple time zones
  • Proven experience leading, driving and measuring virtual teams towards common goal
  • Knowledge and skills in budget management
  • Excellent oral and written communications, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High levels of tact and diplomacy and fine-tuned consultative skills
  • Excellent analytical, report writing and presentation skills
  • Matured, committed, self-motivated and responsible with good working attitude
  • Have team-oriented mind-set, but able to project lead/work independently
  • Clear understanding of effective offline and online communications
  • Strong focus and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
