Responsibilities

  • Direct and lead the sales team to manage all sales activities in order to maximize hotel revenue and market share
  • Analyze changes in guest mix, competitive set and market trends and proactively respond to the changes with strategic moves 
  • Develop and implement Sales and Marketing strategies, promotions and packages for the hotel to ensure revenue and sales goals are achieved and business volume is increased
  • Identify business potential and upkeep close contact with clients in order to drive sales to the hotel
  • Forecast future travel patterns and provided trade feedback to the management
  • Proactively work with Revenue Manager in producing, implementing and monitoring revenue plans
  • Share market intelligence with the sales team and establish performance and development goals for team members
  • Participate in sales presentations, sales trips and trade shows

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Hospitality Management, Business Administrations or other related disciplines
  • 8 – 10 years Sales & Marketing experience in international hotel chains
  • Business oriented with strong analytical skills and good sense in local and global market trends
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and high level of flexibility
  • Strong management skills with initiative and ability to motivate, lead, train and develop the sales team
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
