Function as the leader to reach the segmented sales effort (e.g. group, corporate, association, etc.) and responsible for implementing the segment sales strategy and achieving the revenue goals. Lead and manage all daily activities related to the sales functions with a focus on building long-term and value-based guest relationship. Make recommendations on booking goals, review competitors’ events and integrate current trends in event management and event design.
Assist Director of Sales and Marketing in coaching and training the Events team to ensure relevant knowledge and standard being operation with company and brand standard.
Experience - minimum 10 years experience in a 5 star luxury hotel or equivalent Sales role
Education - bachelor degree in hospitality or relevant discipline
Technical / functional competencies - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Delphi & Opera
Language skills - fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin
