On behalf of clients, we are seeking high calibre candidates for the following:  

Positions: Director/Senior Manager/Manager/Assistant Manager (Business Development, Agency Development, Agency Training (Promotion & Communication)

Positions offered would be depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidates.   


To execute any of the following job functions:       

a).  Business Development Director

  • Reporting to Head of Sales, Agency and Retail Distribution, the incumbent will develop a business portfolio targeting high end customers in Hong Kong and Greater China
  • Build and maintain a strong client network through constant connection & update on market conditions
  • Familiarize with latest trend and movement of the trade practice
  • Work closely with internal departments to maximize cross-selling and business development opportunities
  • Supervise a team of Business Development Officers and monitor the team’s performance to ensure service quality and professionalism

b).  Assistant Manager/Associate (Business Development)

  • Provide professional and efficient support to business partners
  • Manage assigned Financial Intermediaries and to generate sales growth
  • Perform a consultancy role in helping strategic partners to establish or build up their sales team in insurance products
  • Provide quality service to business partners including consultants and maintain a strong relationship with them
  • Conduct sales training and product briefing to the intermediaries
  • Support the respective team leader in business plan with the strategic partners for sales growth
  • Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned  

c).  Manager/Senior Manager (Agency Development)

  • Assist the department head to devise the business development strategies
  • Monitor agency production progress
  • Maintain the sales momentum of agency force, execute recruitment project to recruit more high profile candidates, coordinate different agency events and meeting with different internal departments.

d).  Manager (Agency Training)

  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of sales training catered for agency sales channel
  • Preparation of training needs analysis
  • Training venue arrangement and closely work with internal customers and external business associates for effective training development

e).  Assistant Manager (Agency Promotion & Communication)

  • Manage all marketing collaterals to enhance the communications within the Agency force e.g. Management messages, Agency newsletters, recognition programme and award presentation booklets
  • Prepare and organize Agency Meetings and events from preparation, venue selection and reservation, on-site support to post-event arrangements
  • Promote Agency communication via managing social media content and acting as a hub between team and Agency


A.  General Requirements 

  • Associate degree, Business Administration, Marketing or related disciplines;
  • Able to work under high pressure with professional business acumen
  • Highly adaptable to changes with flexible and positive working attitude
  • Good analytical skills with sensitivity to figures
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal & negotiation skills
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)     

B.  Experience Requirements   

a). for  Business Development Director requires 3 years of experience in financial / insurance industry or being an intermediary of any kinds of industry is highly regarded, strong business acumen and diversified cultural awareness, especially with Greater China market,  and client-oriented, preferably with solid experience in personal selling of financial, insurance products. 

b). for Assistant Manager/Associate (Business Development) requires at least 3 years in sales and marketing experience in life insurance with exposure to Broker and IFA channel. 

c).  forManager/Senior Manager (Agency Development) requires 7 years working experience preferably in life insurance industry, positive, target-oriented, passionate and energetic. 

d).  for Manager (Agency Training)requires 5 years or above solid experience in insurance industry with financial planning and agency training experience, good financial knowledge, holder of CFP or related professional qualification will be a definite asset 

e). for Assistant Manager (Agency Promotion & Communication) requires at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from life insurance industry, strong writing and presentation skills, versatile in writing styles to address to different types of audience
