About the Job:

In this role, you will develop IBE sales through digital online campaigns, maintaining qatarairways.com as a key direct sales channel for the airline by managing contents of websites and reporting bugs. You will optimise QR digital online visibility, support and implement social media activities and implement campaigns towards achieving KPI targets set for the HK market. You will provide support in e-commerce data mining and activities and focus on identifying and implementing sales initiatives, online marketing activities, manage site content and eliminate any technical bugs in order to increase sales, strengthen strategic online partnerships and improve overall customer experience on qatarairways.com

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Contribute in achieving the qatarairways.com revenue, share (sales penetration), online check-in (OLCI) penetration, sales conversion and B2C E-Newsletter subscriber’s database targets for the country
  • Contribute in developing and implementing an E-commerce sales plan for the country with the support of the Manager Direct Sales
  • Optimal and effective use of the online and marketing budget to meet E-Commerce established KPIs for the country
  • Identify, initiate, and assist to implement online marketing initiatives, partnerships, direct response campaigns, and online communication plans to attract quality traffic to qatarairways.com, leading to increased sales conversion through Pay Per Click (PPC), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Display Advertising, E-mail Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Re-Targeting Marketing and Social Media Marketing
  • Design and implement activities to grow B2C E-Newsletter subscribers database
  • Contribute to maintaining high visibility of QR social media properties by regularly posting engaging content such as local and global offers, contests and competitions targeting local fans to increase affinity and sales conversion
About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a relevant qualification combined with a minimum of four years of job-related experience with exposure to online marketing and associated analytics. Experience within the travel industry or prior airline experience would be advantageous. You will need proven commercial skills including business analysis and metrics. An understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS) is also required.
