Educational Consultant- PSHE
The appointee will be responsible for teaching in-service teacher professional development programmes in teaching humanities subjects through the medium of English. Successful applicants will join a team of three staff engaged in the teaching of two, 3-day intensive courses, each comprising 18 hours of lectures, workshops and seminars between June 2019 and June 2020. He/She will also be expected to contribute to establishing a professional sharing network for teachers who share the same concern as well as maintaining an e-learning platform on knowledge management.
Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in the Personal, Social and Humanities Education KLA or in a subject relevant to the Personal, Social and Humanities Education KLA, such as History, Geography or Social Sciences. Applicants must have at least five aggregate years of teaching experience in secondary schools, or experience in training local English language teachers, or experience in training teachers to teach non-language subjects in the English medium for local secondary schools. Applicants must also be fluent in written and spoken English.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on a freelance basis.
