The appointee will be responsible for supporting university-level online learning and teaching activities and promoting Artificial Intelligence (AI) literacy to University students and secondary students. Duties include developing learning and teaching materials by adapting an existing external AI course, conducting workshops, providing project management support for various initiatives, organising online international conferences and seminars, assisting with data collection and drafting reports, as well as carrying out other duties as assigned by the Centre Director. The appointment will be for a period of two years.
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, Psychology, Sciences or related disciplines, with 2 years of post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have excellent language skills in both English and Chinese (fluent in Cantonese), great attention to details, good interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency in common video conferencing and online learning tools. A good understanding of AI and a keen interest in promoting AI will be an advantage. Immediate availability is preferred. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Educational Development Assistant.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
