The appointee will be responsible for providing support to the implementation of University e-Learning strategies and initiatives, ePortfolios, Generic Intended Learning Outcomes (GILOs), learning and teaching plan in collaboration with team members. Duties include liaising with academic and support units of the University; supporting and conducting professional development workshops/student workshops in ePortfolios; undertaking instructional design and pedagogical development of student learning activities; developing learning and teaching materials; collecting and analysing data; writing reports; and carrying out other duties assigned by the Centre Director. The appointment will be for a period of two years.
Applicants should possess a recognized Bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Science, Arts or Education, with at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification working experience, preferably in tertiary institutions. They should have proficiency in computer skills, high proficiency in English, Chinese and Cantonese, competency in report writing, be attentive to details, and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be familiar with qualitative and quantitative research methods, and with good analytical and statistical skills. Experience with educational assessment and evaluation, or educational technology would be an advantage. Immediate availability is preferred.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits include contract-end gratuity, leave, medical and dental benefits.
