Electronics Engineer

The incumbents will take part in research and development of sensor and robotic technologies for local industries.

Responsibilities:

• Design and development of embedding system applications;
• Electronic circuit and system design;
• Carry out experiments/trials for validations; and
• Other ad hoc engineering assignments.

Requirements:

Applicants should have:

• Master/Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related disciplines;
• At least 2 years’ experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • PCB design and layout;
  • Microcontroller programing; or
  • Embedding system (using Raspberry Pi, Arduino, FPGA or similar) design and programming.
• Knowledge of the following areas will be an advantage:
  • Digital signal processing (FFT, filtering etc.);
  • Antenna and power management circuits;
  • WiFi and BLE/Bluetooth; or
  • CAN bus protocols
• Knowledge in object-oriented programming languages or android programming will be a plus;
• Self-motivated and good communication skills;
• Fresh graduates or candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Electronics Engineer.
