Reporting to the Chief Construction & Maintenance Engineer, the appointee will mainly perform the following responsibilities:
To assist the Chief Engineer to lead a team of Inspection-of-works in formulation and execution of trench work project
To monitor site work schedule and carry out site supervision and safety management
To handle contract and Excavation Permit (XP) application
To engage with different stakeholders and liaise with government authorities on trench works
To perform urgent operational duties beyond office hours occasionally
Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related disciplines
Qualifications leading to Corporate Member of HKIE or Registered Professional Engineer (RPE)
A minimum of 6 years’ work experiences in civil, particularly in road excavation related work, trench work project and Excavation Permit (XP) application
Knowledge of ISO9001 and/or other quality system ad advantage
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
Holder of a valid Class 1 and 2 driving licenses
Working Location: Ap Lei Chau, transportation to be provided
Candidates with less relevant experience and lower qualification may be considered for the position of Engineer II.
