Engineer (LIMS Operation and Maintenance)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support development and maintain operation of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) of a medical laboratory
• Communicate with Supervisor for questions to clarify work, process and/or changes in schedules
• Work with scientists to execute experimental design based on user requirement specification

Job Requirements:

• Degree or above in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science or related disciplines
• Good basic operations of mainstream Linux operating systems, such as CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian
• Familiar with cluster construction, backup, recovery, etc. of common databases such as mysql and mongodb
• Hands on experience with one of the development languages ​​of shell, python and java
• Hands on experience with docker, proficient in using docker-compose, Dockerfile and other technologies
• Experience with automation tools such as ansible-playbook, or deployment and use of common components such as nginx, redis, zabbix, prometheus, and grafana would be an advantage
• Experience with LIMS and knowledge with standard molecular biology techniques are desirable
