Manage the post development software lifecycle of key products, with expertise in development tooling, release management, testing and runtime operations. YOUR IMPACT

The Mobile Platform team is responsible for mobile platform governance, development and execution for the firm. As part of this team, you will get to work on best-in-class mobile technologies and products for the firm's end-users and developers. We are focused on further integrating these products and leveraging them to build GS specific services while also building higher level components/apps/services focused on enabling mobile business processes and workflows.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Lead build and deployment processes, manage and maintain the production environment and alerting/ monitoring of mobile products and infrastructure in GS
Manage the product deployment closely with Technology Business Units across the firm to create common components, templates, and standards that help drive mobilization of business services
Engage with business users to obtain feedback, understand their requirements/ use cases and identify enhancement/ new features to be developed
Be the "go-to" product person for mobile in the Asia Pacific region
Work with business application development teams to enable and advance the adoption of mobile development platform
Opportunities to develop globally available highly resilient, and secure server & client side applications utilizing a variety of technologies, while gaining exposure to front office business flows and processes

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of experience working as a DevOps/ Development Support Engineer with all stages (inception, analysis, design, implementation, runtime and maintenance) of a large distributed systems
Experience in working with globally distributed teams and multi-tier architectures is preferred
Experience with debugging, log analysis and root-cause analysis
Experience with iOS or Android Mobile development, scripting languages such as Python, Perl, shell scripting
Experience working in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Great communication skills – as daily coordination with our global team is essential
Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Highly motivated, committed, and self-starting
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work well with local and global team members

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to navigate and prioritize requirements from multiple diverse stakeholders
Exposure to Android or iOS platform and/ or web development (HTML5/javascript/CSS)
Experience with MDM solutions (like Airwatch), Blackberry BES/ UEM infrastrucutre
Experience supporting and deploying web and mobile app deployments
Experience designing and implementing globally distributed highly available systems
Experience of front line support and liason with business developers and infrastructure teams
