Event Project Manager (Public Sector), Contract

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Develop project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Setting, communicating and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish
  • Managing supplier and nonprofit organization relationships
  • Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Coordinate the event logistics
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any disciplines
  • A minimum 2 years solid experience in nonprofit organizations or event management
  • Proven experience in managing a team of people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detailed oriented and a great problem solver with pleasant personality
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Multi-tasker, can handle stress and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must
