Executive Assistant - Risk Management Group - Hong Kong

Join us an experienced Executive Administrative Assistant and provide administrative and operational support to the Compliance team. In this role you will be able to demonstrate confidence, a proactive approach, and self-motivation, as well as your ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

Your effective communication will be essential as you will be interacting with individuals at various levels in the organisation and co-ordinating with different departments globally to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the team’s objectives.

Utilising your previous experience, your responsibilities include creating presentations and issuing communications on matters relevant to the team and meeting certain administrative regulatory requirements. You will also be involved in coordinating meetings, training sessions, events, diaries and travel bookings, expense processing, maintenance of team documentation, procurement and co-ordination of new starters and visitors. In addition, you’ll be expected to contribute ideas and initiatives to improve processes and create efficiencies.

You will have strong Microsoft Office skills and be familiar with a variety of business software applications, with experience in managing conflicting priorities, complex diaries and travel bookings for senior managers. You should be comfortable with the use of social media.

The Risk Management Group (RMG) is an independent, centralised unit responsible for assessing and monitoring risks across Macquarie. This includes market and liquidity risk, credit risk, compliance risk and operational risk. RMG personnel liaise closely with all operating areas to ensure risks are understood and properly managed.
