Executive Chef (Top Executive Management)

Our client is a well-known established fast food chain in Hong Kong who always listened to customers' needs and dining trends to provide innovative products. This is an Executive level leadership position who reporting directly to the General Manager of the company.


  • Responsible for all aspects of food production, quality control, food presentation and hygiene management according to the Company's required standards;
  • Work closely with the Chef team on menu design, recipe preparation, new products demonstration, supplies quality management, kitchen operation logistics, manpower planning and promotional plan;
  • Liaise with procurement and quality assurance departments to carry out cost control planning such as food costing, food quality & wastage control, ordering & inventory management and kitchen’s operating budget;
  • Manage, coach and motivate all the restaurant kitchen team to maintain a good morale;
  • Oversee kitchen safety regulations and devise preventive measures to ensure the safety standard;
  • Manages all health, sanitation, safety and security, laws, policies and procedures in all F&B outlets.
  • Develop, maintain and administer F&B sales and marketing strategies i.e.; menus, advertisements, entertainment, food & beverage promotions, signs, incentives, flyers, e-blasts, digital media marketing, etc.
  • Develop and implement Quality Management System;
  • Cooperate with other internal parties, like marketing, operation, etc.
  • Report directly to CEO or GM


  • Minimum 8-10 years solid supervisory experience in Food and Beverage Senior Management, preferably in a senior regional or corporate position with a fast food chain restaurant group.
  • At least 10 years’ experience of kitchen’s operations management in which includes 2 years’ multi-branch management experience;
  • Experience in designing Taiwanese/Japanese style recipe would be an advantage;
  • Strong in cost controlling and menu engineering with high creativity and food quality;
  • Capable to communicate effectively with all levels of staff;
  • Profit-oriented and strong sense in business acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage with a sophisticated understanding of current industry trends.
  • Prior restaurant development expertise.
  • A progressive management style based on respectful and clear communication with the ability to provide active, quality leadership for the management team.
