Job Summary & Responsibilities

Proactive, solution oriented, support to the regional Corporate Communications function, providing quality, timely and well organized administration support and services. Assisting with project work when required. The role works closely with other EAs and the office manager.

  • Manage and distribute incoming press calls to the press office team
  • Coordinate with editors and reporters on attendance at GS press events
  • Database and archive management and retrieval
  • Internal Communications memo management and distribution
  • Manage vendors including photographers and PR agencies
  • Manage for the team: Travel Arrangements; Meeting Coordination; Expense Reporting; Report and Presentation Preparation; Administrative Tasks; Ad-hoc Projects and Assignments
  • Demonstrates dependability, sense of urgency, and high attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task. Must display a consistent, professional degree of communication skills in person, on phone, by e-mail and letter to senior level executives
  • Assist with simple English / Chinese translation and proofreading
Basic Qualifications
  • The successful candidate will have at least five years of corporate experience, ideally with an investment bank or within the financial services industry
  • Work proactively in a fast-paced and demanding environment and have the ability to prioritize a busy workload
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality results
  • Highest standards of professionalism and maturity and have an ability to bring ideas and experience to tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to interact at all levels of the organization, excellent English & Cantonese oral and written communication skills; Mandarin a plus
  • Proactive, punctual, reliable and a team player
  • Business acumen and financial awareness a plus
  • Strong MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
