Executive Officer (Fundraising & Events)

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Fundraising & Events

  • Work closely with the Deputy Principal and/or the Campus Extension Project Committee to devise, plan, organize, implement and evaluate fundraising ideas/programmes/events for supporting the sustainable development of the school, in particular the Campus Extension Project.
  • Effectively manage and maintain close relationships with existing donors/corporate donors/prospects.
  • Develop customized donation package and prepare proposals to target/potential/corporate donors.
  • Execute promotional plan and produce PR materials such as appeal letters, website, poster and advertisements etc. to keep donors and/or prospects up-to-date about the School’s fundraising needs.

2. Administration & Secretarial Duties

  • Provide administrative and/or secretarial support to the Campus Extension Project Committee.
  • Maintain an accurate donor database, respond to enquiries, logistics and administration of events.
  • Provide ad-hoc administrative support to the Administration Office as assigned by the Head of Administration.
  • Complete other reasonable projects and duties as assigned by the School.

3. Others

  • Work collaboratively with other divisions of the Student & Administration Office in order to ensure the administrative functions of the school run smoothly.
  • Offer constructive feedbacks with the aim to streamline and improve different aspects of the school policies.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or the Principal.



  • Bachelor Degree in Business / Hospitality / Public Relations / Marketing.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO).  Candidates with less working experience will also be considered as the Assistant Fundraising Officer at the rank of Executive Assistant I.
  • Track record in fundraising / PR / event marketing & management background;
  • Solid sales or fundraising experience with direct involvement in soliciting and closing corporate and individual donations/support/partnerships;
  • Excellent communication skills with good command of oral and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels in a culturally-diversified environment;
  • Proven track record and ability to mobilize different resources (the school community / government / volunteers / external organizations etc.) to implement an event successfully and for the sustainable development of the school;
  • A team player who is mature, diplomatic, self-disciplined, result-oriented, open-minded, creative, flexible with high level of integrity and is able to work under pressure with tight timelines;
  • Good command of ICT skills;
  • Immediately available preferred.
