The CUHK Business School, a leading global business school in Hong Kong, seeks to appoint a high-calibre candidate to the position of Executive Officer I. The Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office plays a crucial role in building and maintaining the School’s extensive alumni network; tapping into alumni development to reinforce the School’s brand and reputation; and developing lasting strategic partnerships with the corporate community to forge mutually beneficial relationships.
Executive Officer I (carrying the job title of ‘Alumni and Corporate Relations Manager’) (CUHK Business School)

Reporting to the Administrative Director of the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Office, the appointee will be responsible for (a) working closely with the Administrative Director to draft and execute strategies to enhance the School’s alumni and corporate relations worldwide; (b) implementing alumni engagement programme initiatives and continuously seeking to improve alumni engagement programmes; (c) identifying and establishing relationships with corporations and organisations to support the School’s strategic initiatives; (d) assisting in the development of fundraising initiatives; and (e) preparing presentations and reports on alumni and corporate engagement.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: http://www.per.cuhk.edu.hk/JobVacancies/LanguageforEO.aspx; (iii) at least 8 years’ post-qualification executive work experience, with a good track record in alumni engagement, corporate relations, business development or fundraising; (iv) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluency in Putonghua); (v) knowledge of alumni engagement, corporate relations and/or development in higher education; (vi) exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills; (vii) proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and take lead on certain projects; and (viii) strong communication and presentation skills.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test in both English and Chinese. Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered.
Appointment will be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
