Executive Officer I/II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Manager/ Manager (Corporate Outreach)’) (CUHK Business School)

Reporting to the Administrative Director (Graduate Career Management), the appointee will be responsible for (a) marketing CUHK Business School MBA and Masters students to recruiters and professional organisations; (b) building and nurturing corporate relationships and professional network to source career opportunities from existing and potential employers, including job opportunities, internships, on campus recruitment events, company visits, career treks, etc.; (c) providing career counselling, job search support and career management guidance to a diverse postgraduate student body; (d) planning and organising career talks, company visits and sector overview talks as well as other relevant events initiated by employers and business partners globally; and (e) working closely with students’ clubs and alumni to create new professional opportunities. Working at flexible hours and travelling outside Hong Kong will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Master’s or a MBA degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website: https://www.hro.cuhk.edu.hk/en-gb/languageforeo; (iii) at least 3 years’ professional experience in a career-related role or recruitment/training and development position; (iv) a proven track record of corporate relationships/business development, preferably with experience in the context of mainland China; (v) a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Putonghua will be advantageous); (vi) excellent IT skills; (vii) excellent project management skills and organisational capacities with an ability to work autonomously and within deadlines; and (viii) outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to establish credibility and build trust with diverse stakeholders. Applicants with more than 8 years’ relevant post-qualification executive experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer I.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to mutual agreement and good performance.
