Among all the master’s programmes offered by the School, the full-time MBA is a highly selective programme and is ranked globally. The students are an internationally diverse group of highly motivated professionals. The part-time MBA programme caters to the needs of working professionals in Hong Kong and southern part of China whose needs are centred on leadership development. 

Reporting to the Assistant Director (Marketing and Student Recruitment) or her/his designate, the appointee(s) will be a member of a specialised team in Communication, Marketing and Student Recruitment for MBA programmes to (a) advise prospects about the programmes details, admission procedure / requirement, etc., and provide necessary support to prospects to complete the applications and make informed choice; (b) be responsible for the entire application process, including but not limit to shortlisting applicants, scheduling interviews, validating application documents, preparing recommendation documents for cross team’s confirmation, issuing admission offers, confirming offer acceptance, etc.; (c) proactively engage and follow-up with prospects / applicants to improve yield rate and meet team’s enrolment target; (d) foster and develop external partnerships, including corporates, chambers as well as industry associations; (e) work closely with MBA GBA Alumni Chapter, to build strong alumni bonding in Greater Bay Area. Meanwhile, maintain close working relationship with alumni teams of the Programme Office, the Business School and the University to strengthen alumni referral and engagement; (f) plan, organise and represent the programmes at admission events, such as information sessions, exhibitions, school visits, and generate quality prospects and applicants; (g) maintain CRM update with the latest application details and contact report of individual applicant, monitor and drive progress along the admission process; (h) provide analytical reports on a regular basis to keep track on the application and admissions status and identify rooms of continuous improvement to optimise yield rate; (i) support the development of innovative marketing / admission strategies and enrolment plans to generate more prospects / applicants; (j) serve as programme representative in Mainland China, and communicate and support students in organising outreaching events and engaging students to be ambassadors of the programme; and (k) perform other impromptu duties. Working at flexible hours, different locations in mainland China, and frequent travelling will be required.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree; (ii) fulfilled the English language requirements set out on the website:; (iii) at least 5 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferable in the tertiary education sector or with sales, accounting servicing or customer development background; (iv) excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact and form lasting relationship with students, alumni and senior business leaders; (v) a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, the ability to work independently with minimum supervision to deliver results; (vi) the ability to adopt a positive attitude to the team’s objective, maintain collaborative work relationship with supervisors and team members, act with honesty and integrity, and undertake tasks willingly and enthusiastically; (vii) an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Putonghua); and (viii) proficiency in computer applications, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Photoshop. Work experience in Mainland China is preferred. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for informal discussions, on campus visits, interviews and written test subsequently, as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
