Black Sheep Restaurants Limited

The Executive Sous Chef for Fukuro of Black Sheep Restaurants is responsible for overseeing the kitchen and will work directly under the Executive Chef, Head Chef and Cofounders and rotate between outlets as needed. He/she should have prior experience and knowledge with Japanese cooking techniques and a firm understanding of Izakaya cuisine.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining high quality and consistency for all food, menu and recipe development, staff hiring and training.


  • 8+ years of professional cooking experience
  • Experience working in a Michelin Star restaurant
  • Understanding of Japanese culture, cuisine and cooking techniques
  • Experience working as a Kitchen Manager in World Renowned Restaurant
  • Experience working in international. Hospitality driven cities around the world
  • Strong leadership and training skills, ability to manage kitchen costs such as food, stock management and wastage
  • Ability to develop new dishes and design menus
  • Superior English written and oral communications skills and a strong level of Japanese
  • Professional qualification in Hospitality or Food and Beverage

Experience in Staff Training and menu creating
