Position Scope

The Operations Director will oversee the tactical and strategic operations within our background screening production environment.  The role is multi-faceted, exercising strong people leadership and expertise in operations/production planning and execution in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and maintain an effective Operations production infrastructure and internal workflows to enable fast-paced, successful delivery of services to our clients
  • Assist in the development of short and long term operational planning as it relates to people capacity, system automation and organizational growth.
  • Build processes the improve productivity, reduce cost and improve both quality and quantity of work output
  • Identify efficiency gains for optimal production output
  • Set and enforce fair and efficient operations-related policies and procedures
  • Regularly update executive team members on status of projects
  • Work with internal teams to design and manage end-to-end process flows and execution.
  • Investigate root causes and work with cross-functional areas to provide analysis and recommendations for business operations improvement.
  • Demonstrate that internal customers are as valuable as external customers; project appreciation and respect for all team members.

   Position Requirements

  • 5+ years in a senior-level Operations leadership role within the background screening industry or related indusry required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of handling operational planning within a high volume and high responsibility/accountability position
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to influence others through strong verbal and written communication
  • Strategic mindset; Self-directed, organized, analytical, problem analysis/solving
  • Excellent conflict management skills
  • Must be able to maintain professionalism while navigating the pressures of a fast-paced production environment.
  • Committed to service in a highly competitive industry
