Facilities Manager - JL campus

French International School "Victor Segalen" Association Limited

The French International School of Hong Kong is currently seeking a Facilities Manager based in Jardine’s Lookout Campus.

The Facilities Manager will be reporting to the Facilities Director and will be joining a team of 12 staff dedicated to maintenance of our 4 campuses.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the Jardine’s Maintenance and Facilities team (in-house employees and contractors)
  • Organise and participate in works and repairs with the Maintenance team
  • Handle the campus maintenance including the follow up on construction works
  • Implement operation policies and procedures according to FIS policies and Facilities Director’s instructions
  • Oversee Cleaning and Security Service to ensure hygienic and safe learning environment for the children
  • Supervise and monitor services provided by sub-contractors and conduct regular review meeting to enhance the quality and service level
  • Prepare and monitor the annual FM budget to ensure expenses are spent within budgeted
  • Ensure a smooth and transparent communication with FIS staff and FM team members, to maintain positive interactions between colleagues internally as well as external customers

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Facilities Management or Building Construction; Electrical or Plumbing qualifications; strong background and technical knowledge on building services maintenance and well versed in statutory requirements of building projects, able to repair and guide the technical team.
  • Cheerful character with proactive and “can-do" mind-set.
  • Able to work independently and take full responsibilities for all facilities management matters.
  • Good language skill with fluency in written and spoken English, French will be a plus.
  • Holding a "dependent visa" or an HK Permanent ID;

CONDITIONS:

  • 39 hours per week – Full time
  • Entitled to 5 weeks of holiday per year.
