We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to join our Facility and Environment team as “Facility & Environment Manager ".

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a team of technical employees to follow up day-to-day maintenance
  • Maintain a proper Preventive Maintenance Program (PMP) to ensure key equipment is regularly checked and maintained to minimize breakdown
  • Ensure prompt response to ad hoc situations and sought to solve
  • Always have an overview of the various concurrent projects
  • Advice the management on key facility management projects in accordance with Company’s strategic business objectives
  • Establish policies on vendor management, contract / license maintenance, audit requirements, inventory and work order management
  • Coordinate all operational and capital expenditures to ensure optimal results
  • Manage the construction projects including quality control, progress monitoring, value enhancement and overall site administration to ensure compliance with all statutory and other specific requirements
  • Perform risk management on projects, as well as make recommendations and technical advice to management
  • Coordinate with the project teams, consultants/ project-in-charge to monitor stage handover of works area to ensure the works to be carried out by subcontractors are in good order

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree level in E&M Engineering / Building Services or related discipline (or equivalent)
  • 8 - 10 years’ experience in Engineering / Facility Management of which at least 3 years’ relevant experience in managerial grade
  • Experience in hospitality/ food manufacturing industry an added advantage
  • Well-versed knowledge in building management requirements
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership skills and is able to work with a team of experienced technicians
  • Excellent problem-solving skills even under unfamiliar circumstances
  • Good communication skills with different levels of people
  • Committed to occupational safety and health for both the technical team, and external contractors
