Facility Hiring Co-ordinator (1 year Contract, work in Govt Office)

Major Duties:

  • To liaise with and to provide information to hirers and district arts groups in relation to matters
  • To co-ordinate and compile various statistical returns
  • To update the booking summary and record from time to time
  • To assist in extracting and inputting hirers’ data into the computerized booking system
  • To assist in handling hiring applications of major and minor facilities
  • To prepare correspondence in respect of hiring services
  • To answer enquiries of hirers and general public regarding booking procedures, arrangement, payment, basic technical services
  • To perform any other ad hoc duties as instructed by senior officers


  • Secondary 5 educated or above
  • Five subjects, including Chinese Language and English Language (“Syllabus B" before 2007), at Level 2 / Grade E or above in the HKCEE, or at Level 2 or equivalent or above in the HKDSEE
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
  • At least one year of post-qualification full-time work experience, experience in venue hiring coordination and statistical compilation of performing arts venue, international exhibition and conference centres, art centres or museum in Hong Kong is preferable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and be mature in personality
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
