We are currently operating more than 60 retail outlets in Hong Kong. To strive for long term development and assure the product quality, our Chinese medicine pharmaceutical plant in Kowloon Bay, with a floor area of over 110,000 square feet, has been awarded by GMP accreditations from the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong as well as the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).

Factory Operation Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Production Department of a newly established Chinese medicine pharmaceutical plant with PIC/S GMP standard.
  • Ensure production process, staffing and documentation are complied with GMP requirements.
  • Participate in planning, communicating and implementing the manufacturing strategies as well as manpower, budget and cost control of the department.
  • Train and motivate the team to accomplish assigned mission before the deadline.
  • Achieve production target within budgeted cost, time and quality attributes.
  • Work closely with internal departments including Quality Assurance, Logistics, Engineering and Quality Control to ensure business target & GMP compliance task can be achieved properly.
  • Participate in technical transfer& development of new products & processes.
  • Responsible for productivity, morale and safety of employees.
  • Perform ad hoc assignment / special tasks by direct supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Pharmaceutical, Food, Engineering or related subjects.
  • Minimum 8 years work experience in GMP/HACCP manufacturing, including minimum 5 years in production supervisory/ managerial roles.
  • Knowledge with Chinese medicine would be an advantage.
  • Be accountable and able to solve practical problems in manufacturing.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, management and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent, enthusiastic, with good communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
