Field Design Engineer, Mobile Devices (Wireless & NFC / HK$ 40-65K+)

The Job

• Client: A Global IT / Business Consultancy
• Position: Field Design Engineer, Mobile Devices (Wireless & NFC / HK$ 40-65K+)
• Responsibilities:

• Focuses on the key areas of mobile communication systems, NFC technology and mobile payment systems
• Evaluate wireless products in both field and the Lab, including evaluation of Prototypes and HW Systems
• Develop performance metrics creation/evolution, posting processing and trace log analysis
• Run focused experiments on RF/OTA performance, acoustics, thermals, GPS validation, etc.
• Perform analysis into internal logs to identify root cause of any HW/SW system issues
• HK$ 40-65K+, 5day, medical, bonus

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Electronics or related disciplines 
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in the field of wireless technologies and NFC
• Practical experience in wireless technologies (UMTS/LTE/5G) and NFC
• Experience in live network test experience with the ability to identify specific test scenarios
• Good knowledge in NFC standards (NFC Forum, Felica, EMVco), Secure Element and Mobile Payment systems
• Experience with test equipment such as Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Signal generator, etc is a plus
• Scripting experience (shell/python/perl/matlab)
• Good interpersonal and proven written/verbal communication skills
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
