Finance and Administration Manager

Responsibilities

  • Supervise bookkeeper
  • Work with management to define measures to benchmark performance
  • Prepare budgets and financial analyses with a view to optimizing performance
  • Prepare reports to management on the firm's financial performance
  • Monitor and manage credit and operational risk and liquidity
  • Coordinate with external accountants for tax planning and audit
  • Oversee HR administration, including payroll, MPF and HR related Inland Revenue Department filings
  • Ensure compliance with the Law Society of Hong Kong requirements including solicitors accounts rules and anti-money laundering regulations


Requirements

  • Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or overseas equivalent
  • 5 or more years of relevant working experience (experience working with or for a law firm or other professional services firm handling client trust funds will be advantageous)
  • Self-motivated and pro-active personality
  • Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the Sage/Peachtree accounting system as well as Microsoft Excel
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
