Job Scope


  • Review, identify and evaluate risk and risk exposure; recommend appropriate action.
  • Ability to readily partner strategically with executive management and key Business Unit Stakeholders.
  • Effective communicator accustomed to presenting reports to management regarding special projects and leadership activities, which rely on a sound conclusions.
  • Ensure Group’s compliance is maintained by Identifying, documenting, testing, and remediating potential risk areas.
  • Provide information and documentation to internal and external audit requests.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams on accounting/finance special projects that will require gaining an understanding of the business, the processes that support the business and working with other Group personnel to discover the root cause of the issue and develop a reasonable solution.
  • Ensure your region is in compliance with regulation by maintaining current with compliance rules and regulations.
  • Direct, develop and control your team by undertaking performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions

Expected Background for this role: -

  • For sufficient experience for this role we would expect the Candidate to have at least 16 years experience within a similar sector
  • Previous company would be either a supplier or distributor of goods, with an intense supply operation to ensure speed to customer and acceptable cost.
  • Financial management experience of a business with turnover around US$1B
  • Strong technical grounding and qualification, with about 3 years in an international Audit firm.
  • Preferred sector experience is Electronics Supplier or Distributor
  • Fluency in written and verbal English and Mandarin
