Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

Our client is an international MNC with well-established retail presence all over Asia Pacific. They are currently looking for an experienced Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join their Hong Kong office:

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Perform various analysis for management and brands to support business decision. Assist management to mitigate risks & secure opportunities
  2. Lead and monitor annual financial and capital budgets & monthly estimates processes
  3. Provide support for execution of legal documents



  • Provide strategic analysis and financial insights to management with key indicators of door performance, sales run rates, ROI, COG / Opex analysis, corporate/local affiliates KPIs .
  • Act as a financial consultant & advisor to brands on business and financial activities
  • Lead and monitor annual financial & capital budgets processes and monthly financial estimates processes . Ascertain reasonableness & accuracy of information therein.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, brands’ sales & marketing team to ensure that the monthly latest estimates are prepared with realistic assumptions and flag-out any risk or opportunity in the forecast.    
  • Liaise with regional and head office counterparts on business planning and analysis
  • Liaise with lawyers and business partners for review and execution of contracts.
  • Participate in Strategic Modernization Initiatives/SAP B2R implementation and continuous system update for the affiliate. Ensure that proper system tools i.e. CPM module are proper maintained.
  • Supervise the work of sub-ordinate (Financial Analyst) to ensure that all reports are accurate and prepared timely.
  • Lead projects as required to improve financial discipline, productivity and systems and implementation of management accounting processes
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis for management, regional & NY offices
  • Participate in financial accounting activities as & when required.


  • Degree in Accounting/ Finance
  • ACCA equivalent


  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience with supervisory responsibilities in MNC
  • Sound analytical mind with good understanding of business processes
  • Acquainted with computer software
  • Knowledge in SAP and experience in handling legal documents
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (English and Cantonese), keen ability to collaborate and communicate with different business disciplines
  • Self motivated, well organized and result oriented
