Job Description

This role sits within our Financial & Risk (“F&R") business. On January 30, 2018, Thomson Reuters announced that it signed a definitive agreement to enter into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone related to the company's F&R business. As part of the transaction, Thomson Reuters has agreed to sell a 55% majority stake in Financial & Risk and will retain a 45% interest in the business. Thomson Reuters will maintain full ownership of its Legal, Tax & Accounting and the Reuters News businesses. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of the year and is subject to specified regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. Enhanced Due Diligence group, is a key part of the Risk & Compliance business unit of Risk Content & Insight Operation in Thomson Reuters group. The following position Finance Support – EDD Operation is now open in Hong Kong.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Finance Support Operation Analyst to provide support to the Regional Operations Team within our Financial and Risk business unit. In this role, you will report to Finance Support Manager and undertake a wide variety of tasks that will ensure the team’s high performance. Working within a diverse and collaborative team, you will be building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring the smooth running of our billing operation. You should have strong attention to detail, be able to communicate effectively and be focused on delivering strong results for the business.

Role Responsibilities

  • Liaise with both internal and external parties in providing the billing information & verification as well as communicate the information to the relevant parties to ensure on time delivery
  • Communicate with the relevant parties in providing information and verification to ensure on time delivery of invoice and analysis reports to the clients
  • Update information into the system and communicate the information to relevant parties
  • Communicate with the relevant parties in obtaining the relevant information and verification to ensure procedure are met with compliance
  • Analyse and prepare Ad-hoc reports

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
  • Required languages (both written & spoken): English and Mandarin
  • 1 ~ 2 year experience working in finance / billing
  • Intermediate level of knowledge in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications
  • Paying attention to detail and delivering activities on time
  • Able to work effectively & independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Managing multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
  • Exceptional candidate who do not meet these requirements will still be considered
