The Financial Analyst – Asia Sourcing will be a key member of this team and will report directly to the Manager, FP&A – Asia Sourcing. This position will also work closely with Managers, Directors, and VP’s throughout the Supply Chain organization.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Works closely with Supply Chain, Finance and Accounting
  • Coordinate the budgeting for Asia Supply Chain Back Office groups including but not limited to Sourcing, Global Operations, Product Development, Quality and Materials
  • Support monthly close responsibilities related to the Supply Chain Back Office SG&A
  • Partner with Merchandising, Costing and Materials team to analyze and improve product margins
  • Conduct research and analysis on key macroeconomic metrics that helps to drive sourcing strategies
  • Analyze and review financial performances of UA’s key suppliers
  • Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly budget variance reports for all areas within Supply Chain and communicating major drivers of variations.
  • Provides qualitative and quantitative analysis on SG&A spends in order to assist management in making important decisions.
  • Work with Sourcing teams to update the Vendor 3-Year Plan on a seasonal basis
  • Other duties and projects as may be assigned


 Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidates: include but are not limited to the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business Administration is required. Supply Chain experience is a plus
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or business analysis role
  • Must exhibit professionalism and exceptional communication skills; comfortable with language barriers or constraints; bilingual language skills are a plus
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
  • Solid understanding of Accounting rules and regulations
  • Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced / high growth environment.


Computer Skills

  • SAP/IBPf accounting system experience preferred or familiarity with other corporate financial accounting systems.
  • PC experience: MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint etc).
