Our client is an American chemical manufacturing company headquartered in USA. They are inviting the below Contractor Financial Analyst for FPnA function.


* manufacturing / retail or related  (regional role)

Contractor Role: Financial Planning and Analysis (FP & A)

Provide  accurate  and  timely  reporting  and  analysis  to  support  decision‐making  management.  You  will  play  a  key  role  in  supporting  product  cost  accuracy, analyzing and forecasting manufacturing variance. 

Backup  certain  tasks  on  Financial  Accounting activities  when  required,  and  perform  ad  hoc  analysis  to  assist  management  in identifying new  business  opportunities, implementing initiatives  for  business  processes and operating procedures improvements.

1. Management reporting and variance analysis
Prepare financial and management report, ensure accuracy of financial data and provide management/financial reports to management in a timely manner; Variance analyses

2. Cost management
Develop an in-depth understanding of the pricing agreements  
Consolidate pricing and manufacturing data for costs analysis, follow up cost adjustment proposals 
Establish standard cost for raw materials in SAP
Monitor the progress of cost-savings projects and manage corresponding contract agreement
Handle payment requisition for Project payment

3. Annual budgeting process
Coordinate annual budgeting process, gather budget data from key partners, consolidate budget data  

4. Ad hoc projects
Backup Financial Accounting activities  
Report to Finance Manager and support in data collections / analysis
Support and implement Corp initiatives 
Assist in handling request form external and internal audit


A Degree in Accounting or Finance, completion of examination and obtain professional accounting qualification with an internationally recognized accounting body is a preferred

Around 3-5 years FA experience, gain from a manufacturing or, retail with manufacturing and skillful experience in SAP and Excel

Ability to work accurately and efficiently under time pressure; high attention to details

Good interpersonal and communication skills; be a good team player

Has strong sense of responsibility

Advanced skills in SAP, strong MS Excel a must, proficiency in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) Test will be given.

Proficient in both English and Chinese, conversational Mandarin
