Financial Controller / Assistant Financial Controller

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the finance and accounting functions
• Handle all aspects of financial controls, reviews and planning
• Compile financial budget and perform operational and costing analysis
• Highlight and investigate significant issues of operating units, make recommendations on corrective measures
• Conduct independent review and evaluations of operating units’ financial / operational policies and procedures for the purpose of improving the efficiency and effectiveness
• Enforce internal control systems to ensure that the assets, revenues and costs are under effective control
• Implement cost effective control policies and procedures, ensure that the internal control systems operate properly and comply with Group and Company policies

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Accounting / Finance or equivalent and with a recognized accounting qualification, preferable ACCA/HKICPA/AICPA
• Minimum 10 years’ managerial experience in financial control function in sizable organization and accounting experience in HK listed or multinational corporations
• Strong business sense, proven management, analytical and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with all departments in an organization
• Good understanding of HK & China accounting rules and regulations
• Familiar with HK & China operations in finance, taxation and audit
• Solid hotel experience is required
