l Responsibilities of financial accounting, reporting compliance of overseas operations, specifically statutory audits of overseas subsidiaries and applying the relevant accounting reporting standards;
In addition, incorporating the relevant aspects into the Group’s consolidated financial statements;
Overseas operations of the Group cover Asia, the US, and Europe, hence business travel would be required;
l Review of monthly/quarterly financial packs of overseas subsidiaries for Group’s consolidation;
Possess hands-on experience in computerised accounting consolidation and reporting software, such as Business Process Consolidation of the SAP system. And be able to work closely with IT to lead such finance system development;
l Involve with internal tax team and external tax advisors on tax planning and compliance of overseas subsidiaries;
l Responsible for running the financial management of overseas subsidiaries, and supervising their finance departments, which include:
l Identify financial risks: currency, liquidity, interest rate exposure of overseas subsidiaries;
a) Work with internal auditors on reviewing, implementing and improving key internal financial controls;
b) Financial risk-management: financial analyses, budgeting and variances’ analyses;
c) Planning, and execution of overseas’ treasury aspects;
d) Ad hoc M&A/investment projects, including financial due diligence ;
e) Executing CAPEX and fixed assets management accounting;
f) Devising and implementing professional training development for teams;
l Ownership of the overseas financial suite of the Group’s digital management system, SAP;
l Any other relevant tasks that maybe assigned from time to time
