Financial Planning and Reporting Manager - Retail Banking and Wealth Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Financial Planning and Reporting Manager.

In this role, you will

  • Support the Asia Pacific Digital Finance Lead with management of the business and technology spend in the Asia Pacific region
  • Support the HDS Digital Finance team globally with the management of business costs, including spending approvals, cost tracking and accruals
  • Enable the digital delivery teams by supporting with the spend approval process, helping build and test business cases, and tracking benefits
  • Producing reporting based on monthly data to enable the Head of Digital Finance and Asia Pacific Digital Finance Lead to drive executive decision making
  • Ensuring regular forecasting and reporting requirements with the Asia Pacific Regional Finance team are timely, consistent and aligned with the global perspective
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis where necessary to ensure we are investing in an efficient manner and aligned with our strategic priorities

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

  • Experience working in a Commercial Finance role preferably in a large corporate
  • Experience of Digital technology or Agile ways of working useful
  • Attention to detail, good judgment showing logical decision making, and a hands on approach
  • Experience operating core finance processes including accruals, forecasting and control
  • Effective written and oral communication and influencing skills, including creating strong financial narratives to support presentation and report writing
  • Planning and prioritising skills
  • Comfortable with a high level of ambiguity
  • Experience working in large multi country teams to deliver to tight deadlines
  • Accountancy qualified, ACA, ACCA or equivalent with relevant finance experience
  • Strong PowerPoint, Word and expert Excel skills
  • Strong work ethic, professional and personable
