Financial Reporting Manager - Fintech Banking

Our client a leading financial services group dedicated to providing comprehensive corporate banking, personal banking, wealth management, and investment services is now looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

  • Handle month-end closing process, including the production and analyze respective monthly performance and control reports for Management
  • Responsible for annual and interim statutory reporting and review and prepare regular financial analysis, board meeting materials and other management,
  • Communicate and handle requests from external and internal auditors;
  • Review and support the financial reporting requirements internally and handle the related matters in a timely manner;
  • Ensure proper reconciliation on of inter-company accounts and time to investigate on material discrepancies;
  • Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures, and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in day-to-day work

Job Requirements:

  • Qualified HKICPA with University graduate, preferably major in Accounting or Finance;
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in perfect from the banking sector, in which at least 3 years in a managerial role;
  • Big 4 with Banking experience is welcome
  • Sound knowledge and experience in handling month-end closing and statutory account preparation;
  • Good understanding of the Hong Kong Accounting and Financial Reporting standards;
  • Experience in liaising with external and internal auditors,
  • The initiative, analytical, and able to work under pressure
