POSITION REVIEW

The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Food & Beverage to oversee and direct all operational aspects of the service of the Food & Beverage Departments to ensure seamless Operations and food & service quality.

JOB RESPONSIBLITIE

  • Supervises all F&B Outlets and Areas (The Astor, Yat Tung Heen, Bars, Banquet Services and Stewarding) to ensure best quality of service and customer satisfaction
  • Ensures all established operating procedures, service standards, food quality, consistency, control are strictly followed at all times
  • Maintains excellent customer relations and ensures very personalized service to all guests.  Builds up recognition and customer relation with our regular guests
  • Monitors guest satisfaction/feedback in relation to product; keeps management promptly informed on all feedback and follow through appropriate actions accordingly
  • Establishes and co-ordinates work schedules for all service team members. Controls casual labour request and overtime, and co-ordinates leave schedules for all service team members
  • Cooperate with Training Manager and Director of Food & Beverage on trainings for all F&B outlets team members.  Develops formal training plan for the F&B Department
  • Participates in up-dating/changing all menus, beverage lists, wine list and drink menus in the hotel in co-ordination with Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chefs with approval by Managing Director and Financial Controller
  • Coordinate and prepare all food promotions and festivals, in conjunction and with approval of Director Food & Beverage.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant F&B experience, preferably in international hotels.
  • Well versed with computer and strong client base
  • Knowledge of POS/CLMS is an advantage
  • Independent & strong leadership skills
  • Willing to work flexible hours
  • Open-minded and willing to drive changes
  • Optimistic and outgoing personality
  • Good communication skills with excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
