Job Overview

Performs a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions in the company.

Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities

General accounts receivable functions

  • Prepare and submit customer invoices
  • Prepare daily settlement
  • Prepare and coordinate deposit activities
  • Perform all necessary account, bank and accounts reconciliations
  • Monitor customer accounts for non payment and delayed payment

General accounts payable functions

  • Check, verify and cheque issue
  • Prepare payments voucher for signature
  • Bank reconciliations, enter accounts payable data
  • Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
  • Maintain vendor files

General support functions

  • Outdoor work may be required
  • Update, verify and maintain accounting journals and ledgers and other financial records
  • Assist in month end reporting procedures
  • Find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies
  • Track and audit petty cash
  • Check & control our department expense reports
  • Perform filing and general administrative tasks
  • Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors

Requirements

  • Form 5 or above
  • With LCCI Intermediate Certificate or equivalent or above
  • Full set of books
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office and Chinese word processing, excellent in Excel is a must
  • Self-motivated, well-organized, responsible, and hard-working
  • Monday to Friday 9 am to 1 pm OR 2 pm – 6 pm
