Fund Director, Asset Management (Public Equity Funds)

As our Fund Director (Public Equity Funds), you will be responsible for developing comprehensive investment strategies and strategic asset allocation among funds. Your responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Supervising the product development and investment management processes for products managed by the company;
  • Developing, directing, and documenting policies, procedures, and processes related to Fund management;
  • Proposing and implementing best practices that aim to continuously improve the investment process and promote scalability in index management;
  • Managing Front to back operation, compliance, public fund set up;
  • Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate your insight when appropriate to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying potential investment opportunities, and able to participate the whole cycle of investment from market search, financial modeling, industry trends analysis to post-investment management;
  • Ensuring that all areas across the team are meeting compliance requirements and up to standards;
  • Performing ad hoc projects upon request.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or above, majoring in Finance/ Economics or related discipline with professional qualification in CFA/FRM will be an advantage;
  • SFC RO 9 holder and KIP Qualification with proven track record in setting up and managing public funds;
  • Strong knowledge of global equity markets, index construction, and specifically equity index investing as well as data analytics skills;
  • Strong network for investors and ultra-high net worth investors;
  • Competent and capable in business development and can generate revenue independently;
  • Have a high level of responsibility and good communication and coordination skills, strong sense of moral values, pay attention to details, have a good team spirit and professional attitude;
  • Proficient in computer applications, such as MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Chinese Word Processing;
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English & Chinese (Putonghua) to write and present ideas clearly and succinctly.
