Fundraising Analyst, Leading Private Equity Placement Agent

This is a leading independent placement agent. It specialises in raising capital for private equity funds. Placement agents advise private equity investors on how to raise funds, and then facilitate the fund raising process through introductions to its contacts within the institutional investment market. As a result, a placement agent needs to have the following skills and expertise: technical due diligence, interpersonal skills, marketing abilities, attention to detail and good negotiation skills. They are currently seeking an analyst to join their Hong Kong office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with the team members on all aspects of the fund raising process
• Prepare marketing materials and documentation
• Conduct research and analysis on the private equity market - on GPs and LPs.
• Coordinate GP roadshows and logistics

YOUR PROFILE:

• A background in private equity fundraising or fund of funds
• Strong knowledge and understanding of placement agents
• Good technical ability – experience modelling and using Excel
• Proven ability to produce and develop PowerPoint presentations
• Fully fluent or native in English. Asian language is a strong plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently
• You must have the right to work in Hong Kong
