General Clerk II (Communication and Public Relations)

The appointee will (a) assist in implementation of communication initiatives, including advertising campaigns, production of online advertising banners and maintenance of social media platforms; (b) assist in organising School-wide functions and events; (c) handle a wide range of communication and public relations initiatives, including souvenir sourcing, alumni affairs and secondary school outreach programmes; and (d) perform other duties as assigned.
Applicants should have (i) Grade E/Level 2 or above in at least 5 subjects in HKCEE, including Chinese and English (Syllabus B); OR any combination of results in at least 5 HKDSE subjects (including Level 2 or above in Chinese and English): Level 2 or above in NSS subjects, “Attained" or above in ApL subjects (subject to a maximum of 2 subjects), and Grade E or above in Other Language subjects; (ii) completed sub-degree or undergraduate education, and preferably with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience; (iii) fast and accurate typing skill; (iv) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; (v) proficiency in IT skills and applications (including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Photoshop); (vi) self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility and a creative mind; (vii) attentiveness to details and the quality of being well-organised; and (viii) good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently under tight schedules.
Applicants must submit copies of HKCEE/HKDSE certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered. Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for a written test.
Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for up to 2 years (with contract-end gratuity for a 2-year contract), renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
