General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Vietnam)

Major roles :

  • Plan, direct, review and control the operational activities and resources of thewhole plant to ensure timely delivery of quality outputs at competitive costs;
  • Effectively administer the daily operations and monitor production planning, industrial engineering and skills-upgrading projects with helps from functional managers to accomplish lean production and continuous improvement;
  • Deliver results-oriented development programs (e.g. costsor lead time reduction / further improve efficiency and quality ) to drive for KPIs fulfillment and high performance;
  • As a key player participating to leverage synergy effects with the senior management team on company’s strategies development & implementation.
  • Coordinate and liaise with local authorities in complying with the national laws and regulations as well as the group’s policies & guidance;
  • Station in Vietnam

Requirements :

  • Tertiary education or equivalent, preferably in Clothing / Textile, with at least 7 years’ experience at managerial or above level in the apparel manufacturing industry; and offshore factory experience and knowledge an asset;
  • Mature, independent, pro-active, well-organized, creative mindset and result-oriented;
  • Possess strong leadership, managerial skills and sound problems solving skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and good command of written and spoken English;
  • Proficient in computer applications like MS Office / ERP system
