Geotechnical Engineer

Requirements:

Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (MHKIE) in geotechnical engineering disciplines or equivalent;

3 years post professional qualification experience in construction contracts among which 1 year in geotechnical works;

Job Description

Responsibilities:  

Responsible for construction aspects of geotechnical works, including excavation and lateral support, retaining structures, slope works and miscellaneous geotechnical works;

Represent the company to liaise with the Sub Contractor, Consultants, Client;

Advise and answer technical queries and propose suitable construction technique;

Assist the project team in compiling all geotechnical monitoring / site inspection / record / submission;

Lead engineering team on preparing works of method statements and material submission;
