We are committed in the development, manufacture and marketing of batteries and battery-related products. We are one of the world’s major suppliers of primary and rechargeable batteries, in addition to being the largest consumer battery manufacturer in China. We supply an extensive range of battery products to original equipment manufacturers, leading battery companies as well as consumer retail market under our own GP brand name. Our production facilities are located in Singapore, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan and Malaysia, supported by marketing and trading offices spanning across Asia, Europe and North America.

Global Brand Manager

The candidate will lead, develop and build worldwide marketing strategy of a totally new global brand of GP Batteries, with the objective to increase corporate market share and sales revenue.


  • Responsible for global market share, sales revenue and be the custodian of the new global brand covering both retail consumer goods and B2B segments.
  • Collect and analyse global market, competitors and consumer trends in order to turn key insights into viable business growth opportunities.
  • Lead and influence business units and regional / local marketing team on new product development and portfolio pipeline.
  • Develop product road map for short, medium and long term with respective SBUs.
  • Formulate and drive marketing strategy worldwide. Manage the brand’s marketing mix including product management, pricing, distribution and go-to-market strategy, as well as increasing brand awareness, etc.
  • Manage creative and marketing agencies.
  • Build rapports with various functions in HK headquarters, regional and local marketing teams. And facilitate best practice sharing across regions
  • Lead global marketing workshops, event and exhibitions of this new brand.


  • University graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Communication (major in Marketing preferred)
  • At least 10 years all-round sales and marketing experience in FMCG industry. Business / market development background in both B2B and B2C is of definite advantage
  • Knowledge in Product Management, Strategic Consumer and Trade Marketing, Media and Communication, Agency Management
  • International and global mindset, Strong influencing and negotiation skills, Positive and team work mentality, Change Advocate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes
  • Good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua
  • Candidate with less relevant experience might be considered as Assistant Manager
  • Occasional travel is required
