Our compliance team is highly technical and detail-oriented, and we love to get down into the nitty-gritty of our in-app processes to ensure that we’re meeting (and even setting) best practice in the fintech industry. Compliance plays a crucial role for Monaco’s long term vision and success.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with CEO and CFO to build a robust KYC/AML process as well as Risk Mitigation strategies that take into account both regulatory environment and business needs
  • Provide support during the product development process to evaluate potential (1) compliance issues and (2) AML risks associated with new or enhanced product offerings
  • Be responsible for concise written and/or verbal communication with external partners & regulators, including preparation of documentation, process flows, policy drafts, etc.

You will know we are looking for you, if:

  • Have deep understanding of compliance, KYC and AML legislative and regulatory requirements in multiple jurisdictions
  • Have experience managing a regulatory compliance program
  • Can turn high-level policy into highly-detailed workflows
  • Love analysing complex, multi source data - both qualitative and quantitative - and reaching well formulated conclusions and plans of action
  • Startup experience is a solid plus. ACAM (Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) certification is also preferred
  • Experience with credit/debit/prepaid card programs is a plus
