The Opportunity

Gravitas Recruitment Group is an international, specialist recruitment firm that has an incredible story and is currently looking to hire a native Mandarin speaking recruitment consultants (graduates are strongly encouraged to apply) for our Mainland Chinese business (based in Hong Kong).

 

We have a fantastic track record of hiring individuals who have little or no experience in recruitment but have a flair and enthusiasm for sales and working with people. Through a comprehensive training platform we nurture these individuals to become independent and accomplished recruitment consultants.

The Role

The role of a recruitment consultant is a challenging but rewarding position and requires an individual to understand why they are looking to fulfil a career in sales. Our day to day activities include business development, market mapping, and marketing to both clients and candidates utilising sophisticated sales material and techniques. We spend a large time of our day on the phone building relationships with insurance professionals across our dedicated market which requires the confidence to step out of your comfort zone and the ability to initially sell one's self.

 

The Training & Development

All consultants who join Gravitas will be given fully structured training (formal class room, on-the job and regular reviews) and if joining as a graduate (or with no rec experience) will be given a three-month in-house training course. We will teach all aspects to be successful in the role including writing job specs, candidate & client management, negotiation skills, technical market knowledge, questioning and interview techniques and successful marketing (to name a few).

These clear and structured targets give rise for the opportunity of increments in remuneration / commission and title, as well as professional development.

On-going incentives, both individual and team, are offered throughout the year (individual targets across the group - 2012 South Africa, 2013 Mauritius, 2014 Paris, 2015 Mauritius and 2016 and 2017 in Sun City, South Africa). There are also annual regional trips (2012 Hua Hin, 2013 Phuket, 2014 Bangkok, 2015 Cebu, 2016 Phuket, 2017 Bangkok) for top regional performers. Monthly fine dining targets to Michelin star restaurants are on-going monthly incentives as are ad-hoc special incentives throughout the year.
