Job Purpose:

Graphic Designer play an essential role in the marketing, creative, communications and digital departments. Graphic designers work to bring many kinds of communication alive. To produce designs that get clients' messages across with high visual impact. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of design software.

Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:

  • Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees.
  • Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
  • Meets cost standards by monitoring expenses; implementing cost-saving actions.
  • Develops basic presentation approaches by reviewing materials and information presented.
  • Determines production schedule; outlining basic presentation concepts; coordinating creative activities.
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes.
  • Updates job knowledge by maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Develops marketing strategies by examining objectives; planning, scheduling, and completing design and production requirements for direct marketing and advertising.
  • Keeps informed by compiling, analyzing, and reporting marketing results; forwarding plan projections and updates.
  • Revises marketing plan by analyzing campaign results; identifying expansion opportunities.
  • Monitors marketing mix and results by coordinating tracking actions with sales and marketing representatives.
  • Improves marketing quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing creative processes; implementing changes.
  • Accomplishes marketing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Knowledge and experience:

  • Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years of graphic design experience.
  • Experience in Branding, preferably in a design-related agency.
  • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development.
  • Perfect Knowledge in Adobe Suite : AI, Photoshop, InDesign.
  • Knowledge in Websites - Design, navigation.
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of French is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Dynamic, creative and self-motivated.
