You will be responsible to provide an excellent and consistent level of service to your guests. The Reception Manager is also the in-house Events Coordinator who is responsible to act as a sales specialist in the area of events and catering. This covers the relationship building and account management, as well as event management.

  • Report to General Manager, BCG Sales and Marketing regarding in house events and marketing strategies.
  • Handle guest enquiries & complaints.
  • Maintain and update event schedule & details in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepare all event documentation and coordinate with frontline & technical departments to ensure high level of service throughout events.
  • Provide on-site support during events.
  • Conduct market research, reports & analysis to keep track of the business performance.
  • Working with the General Manager and Sales and Marketing team, assisting with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of required services.
  • Manage social media website such as Facebook/ IG / Twitter and Weekly/ Monthly EDM development
  • Creating a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the restaurant
  • Checking of client invoices and function reports.
  • Work with the Sales & Marketing department on implementation of the Marketing Plan.
  • Assist in management of functions and logistics.
  • Communicate with staff about what's happening in the company and restaurant.
  • Assist in profitability of the restaurant through working smart and cost reduction at the Reception Desk.
  • Supervise Receptionists so the tasks for Opening and Closing, Telephone reservation and special request bookings are all handled correctly.
  • Communicate with the Manger regarding any problems or changes necessary with service.
  • Carry out any other duties as advised by the General Manager from time to time.
  • Must be able to coordinate and manage the Reception Team including Roster duties and Reception Area management.
